This page describes data use in VoiceTube’s Lingosort Web and iOS services and supplements the VoiceTube Privacy Policy. You can play Lingosort without creating an account. Other VoiceTube services have their own features and data practices.
Progress and purchases
Chapter progress, learning records, coins, boosters, preferences and transaction deduplication records are primarily saved on your device or in your browser. Lingosort currently has no account-based progress sync between devices. Apple handles iOS payments. The app uses Apple transaction information to verify products and save grants; it does not receive your payment card number.
Usage and diagnostics
When Share diagnostics is enabled, Lingosort collects app launch, play session, tutorial step, level, review answer, booster, coin spending, heart, pronunciation playback, advertising and purchase-flow events and results, chapter and level, elapsed time, moves, app version, platform and Debug status to improve levels, the learning flow and reliability, and to measure daily activity, retention and flow completion.
To measure retention and flows, events carry a random “diagnostics ID” created on this device, a random ID for each play session, and the number of days since first launch. The diagnostics ID is not derived from your account, Apple ID, device serial number or advertising identifier, is not linked with data from other apps or websites, and is not used for advertising. You can view and copy your diagnostics ID in Settings. Turning Share diagnostics off deletes the ID on this device; turning it back on creates a new one, and earlier events can no longer be linked to you. Reports exclude Apple transaction IDs, word content and raw error messages. Each event also has a random ID used only to deduplicate retries.
Cloudflare receives and stores these events; access to reports is restricted to administrators. Raw events are kept for 7 days; daily statistics without identifiers are kept long term; each diagnostics ID’s active days and milestones (for example the day the tutorial was completed or the first purchase was made) are kept for up to 400 days. Network providers still process transmission information such as IP addresses. The app separately keeps the latest 500 local activity records for Debug inspection; this local log is not automatically uploaded in full.

Advertising and service providers
On iOS, Lingosort uses Google AdMob. Google’s SDK may process IP addresses (for approximate location), device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, performance information and diagnostics for advertising and analytics. Actual processing depends on region, consent and system permissions. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising SDK disclosure. Web currently uses simulated ads without the AdMob SDK.
Content, images, and pronunciation audio are downloaded over the network. English pronunciation first uses audio cached on your device. If a clip is missing, our server returns a shared clip or sends the curriculum text and voice settings to Cartesia to generate one. We do not send your account, device identifiers, or recordings to Cartesia. Our server stores the shared audio and generation status; your device may cache clips for offline playback. If audio is unavailable, offline, or takes too long, pronunciation falls back to device or browser speech services, which may use network services depending on the provider and system settings. Lingosort does not ask to record your voice.

Your choices
- Turn off Share diagnostics in Settings to clear queued reports and stop future sharing. Reports already sent or in transit cannot be withdrawn by this switch. It does not control Google advertising data.
- Where required, after consent information is available, Advertising privacy options appears under Settings → Privacy & support. You can also manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.
- Clearing website data or deleting the app may remove local progress and consumable resources. Read the support page first.
- Reports are keyed only by the diagnostics ID, which we cannot derive from an account or contact details. To access or delete events linked to you, copy the diagnostics ID from Settings and include it in your message; requests are handled based on available information and applicable requirements. Turning Share diagnostics off also stops further sharing immediately and deletes the ID on this device.
